It will be supported with security updates and bug fixes, as needed, until October 13, 2020. The minimum supported macOS for Office 2016 for Mac is 10.10 (Yosemite).

Outlook for Mac 2011 does not work with macOS 10.15 Catalina. Sending meeting updates with REST calendar sharing feature in Outlook for Mac. Mar 14, 2018 You could firstly sign out the existing account in one of the Office apps, and then restart the Mac. Open one of the Office apps to sign in with your work/school account. Check if the issue persists. If it doesn't work, try the tool mentioned in the article below. Reactivate your Office suite with your work/school account. Apr 16, 2018 Open the Application Support folder, then the Microsoft folder, then the Office folder, and then the User Templates folder. Find the Normal.dotm file, and drag it to the desktop. Do you see the error? Quit Word, and drag Normal.dotm from your desktop to the Trash. Congratulations, this solved the problem. Quit Word, and restore the file to its original location. Mar 19, 2020 Word for Mac 16.30 crashes or freezes when highlighting text in a file on Mac Catalina. Ever since I did the Catalina Update on my Mac Book Pro, I can not get Microsoft Word to work properly. It freezes up and the cursor gets lost. Open the Microsoft Database Utility by holding down the Option key, and then clicking the Outlook for Mac 2011 icon. If necessary, select the Profile or Identity whose name was changed, click the Gear icon, and then click Set as Default.
